Rita Hajjer did not have a strong enough motive to kill Sven Larsgaard. In fact, she genuinely enjoyed working with him. Rita may have been displeased with Sven’s controlling nature. While it is certainly unpleasant that he went behind her back to attempt to restrict her from working with another acclaimed director, it seems unlikely that this would have been enough motivation for murder. In addition, Rita’s voluntary confession after Sven’s death just doesn’t make much logical sense if she is the murderer.
