The “I see you were just using me” Note

An unfinished note on Marisa Hightower’s desk addressed to “Robert” read, “I thought we had an understanding. Now I see you were just using me.” First off, there’s no way to tell if the “Robert” in the note was Robert Vogel. And if it was, only Robert knows what it means. Maybe he was using her to get better connected to Oliver Foggleton, or to the art world in general.
